Snow depths for mid-February

The depth of snow at the park headquarters on February 13 was 79.2 cm. It had dropped from 80.1 cm on February 6.

The average snow depth in the past 9 winters for mid-February was 79.7 cm. The most snow in mid-February was 116.2 cm in 2003 and the least amount of snow was 57.2 cm in 2007.

If you might be thinking that the average snow depth is decreasing over the past 9 years, that is not the case. Snow depth in mid-February in 2010 was 59.3 cm and in 2011 was 109.6 cm. Therefore, snow depths are quite variable over the years.
